Industrial Influence
Wandering round the cobbled streets of London's Clerkenwell this week to check out the offerings of talented new designers as well as established ones during Clerkenwell Design Week 2015. It came apparent to me that one trend, 'Industrial Chic' and 'Loft Look' is here to stay.
New York has been the trendsetter for it's industrial loft apartments and open plan living for many years now, but in architectural and style wise, London is very much on track.
I'm impressed by how many new inventive and spirited designers these days take part in recycling and green issues and connect their work and art to their creative path.
Scroll through some inspirational images that I have have gathered around the industrial look.
The key elements to this look involve exposed brick, bare pendant lights, wire racks, exposed pipe work and my favourite, concrete.
